Donald J. Kuyrkendall, President of Kuyrkendall & Company, Inc., began his career in real estate as a licensed salesman for Great Western Cities, Inc. a subsidiary of Great Western United Corporation in Denver, Colorado. After promoting to Northwest Division Manager by 1973, Don took a position as the Dallas Division Sales Manager for North American Towns Of Texas, Inc. He then relocated to San Antonio in 1974, electing to apply his extensive real estate experience to begin ERA Kuyrkendall Realtors, which evolved into Kuyrkendall and Company, Inc. by 1982.
During the 1980s, Don partnered with Bexar County Housing Authority to promote affordable housing opportunities for low-income families. By expanding his property’s tenant base to Section 8 tenants, he was able to maximize his business potential while helping to improve San Antonio resident lives.
Don’s 40 years of experience in client-oriented real estate now contributes to a focus maximizing the business potential for the Kuyrkendall & Company, Inc. client.
Don is an active member of the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR), Texas Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.
